Sixteen Community & Technical Program Students Receive Governor's Workforce Credential

Congratulations to the following Kanawha County Schools students enrolled in Community & Technical Education programs for achieving the Governor's Workforce Credential. 

The requirements for the Credential are as follows:

Requirements:

  1. Portfolio Score - 95% or better
  2. Attendance - 95% or better
  3. Win/Key Train - Gold Level of Achievement (5+ on all categories: AM,RI,LI) OR  Summative Assessment - 3+ on both Math and ELA
  4. National Credential Earned - Industry recognized credential related to the student's program of study in accordance with Policy 2520.13, OR both the OSHA 10 & WV Welcomes certifications
  5. Drug Testing  - Successfully passed 2 drug tests
